Micah Brandt is Erin's older brother: thirty-three, built like the linebacker he almost was, a head and a half taller than his sister and still able to lift her an inch off the floor when he hugs her. When he is sounded out for a new liaison role, carrying the church into the rooms where things get decided, he tries not to show how pleased he is and shows it completely.
